Fantasy photo manipulation

This image was created by merging three different images together. The first image; a simple picture of a field with trees. The second; a picture of a lady in a flowy dress. The third; a picture of part of a tree. All three images were put together and altered so that all of the lighting (etc) was the same - so that it didn't look blatantly obvious that this was fake. Once these images were done, smaller details were added (like the birds in the sky), the fairy wings and the flower in the ladies hair. Last of all, a black edge was added in order to fit with the 'fantasy' feel. 

Alien invasion

This image was created by using a multiple of layers. The first layer is a standard photograph of some waves with trees. The second layer contains an image of a alien spacecraft. The third layer is of the dark clouds. These three images have been blended together so that all of the lighting (etc) is the same and so that everything in the photograph looks real (nothing looks out of place). Once these images had been blended, the orange/red colour was added to make it look like the beam from the spaceship was casting an orange glow over the trees. All of the layer put together make the photograph seem quite mysterious (and quite scary). 

Surreal photo manipulation

This photograph has been created using a couple of layers. The first layer is of the lady in the dress and the clouds. The second layer is of the vines/ flowers that are wrapping themselves around the lady. These two layers were blended together and altered so that the lighting and colour matched with one another. Altogether the photo looks very realistic (even though it is a surreal piece!).

This photograph was created using two layers. The first layer; an image of city buildings. The second layer; an image of a girl lying down. These two photographs were blended together (very well!) so that the scene looks quite realistic. The shadows of the skyscrapers have been edited onto the lady so that it doesn't look like she has just been thrown there. All of the lighting in the two layers match each other so they don't look odd. Altogether, the image looks realistic. 

This image was created by using a multiple of layers. The initial image is of a hand. On this hand, a battery pack and wires have been edited in to make it look like the hand has panels which you could remove (in order to replace batteries etc). This is not one of my favorite photo manipulations but its an example which you could elaborate on in order to create a different (but similar) image.

This photograph seems like it was very simple to make. There only seems to be  two layers present. The first layer being the cat and the second layer being the smoke (which seems like it has been created in photoshop). I like this image, its very simple! 

I really like this image - it seems like a lot of work has been put into it. This image seems (to me) to have on a few layers. The initial layer would be the photograph of the man holding the book. Looking at the picture, it looks like the writing has been "whited" out and then replaced onto the edges of the book and on the shirt of the man. Altogether, the layers fit well with one another.
